Homeowners who install energy-efficient windows and doors could qualify for significant government subsidies in 2026.

They could benefit from:

Up to €4,000 for windows
€800 per exterior door (up to a limit of two doors)
A total amount of up to €5,600 for single-family homes

To take advantage of the WRAP Program, you must meet all of the following conditions:

Your home had to be constructed and occupied prior to 31 December 2010. You must have a current and valid Meter Point Reference Number (MPRN) that can be found on your utility bill.
You are replacing existing windows or doors.
You used a contractor registered with the SEAI for this installation.
The new windows and/or doors must meet a U-value of 1.4 W/m2K or better.
Your minimum HLI must be at or below 2.3 W/m2K after the upgrade.
A Building Energy Rating (BER) Assessment is required before applying for funding.
You must submit an application through SEAI’s online application process.
