My name is Marian. I’m 45 years old, originally from Moldova, and one of the founders of FabWindows, based in Dublin, Ireland. Together with my friend Vasilii, we created FabWindows in 2020 out of a shared vision—to bring high-quality, affordable, and tailored windows and doors to Irish homes. Our mission? They say necessity is the mother of invention, and FabWindows is proof of that. In 2020, Vasilii and I needed to replace the windows in our homes. What we found on the Irish market disappointed us—limited tilt-and-turn options, high prices inflated by unnecessary showroom luxuries, and impersonal service. We realized that customers were paying for more than just the windows; they were covering the costs of glossy catalogs, branded pens, leather sofas, and flashy showrooms.
This experience brought back memories of my years in the window business in Moldova. From 2005 to 2014, I worked for one of the leading suppliers of materials for windows and doors in the Moldovan market. Starting as a salesman, I worked my way up to managing director. This role gave me a deep understanding of the components and craftsmanship needed to create top-quality windows, as well as the importance of efficient logistics and customer service.
Drawing on this expertise, Vasilii and I decided to create something different: a company with a new philosophy, where customers pay only for the product and service they receive—nothing more.
